Happy Mothers Day 2012! Part 2

So if your in a long term relationship it generally comes down to the woman to a. remember things like families birthdays/special days for both sides and b. to buy/make cards for that occasion!

Have tried to follow Kraftin' Kimmies theme this week of CASE which supposedly means either "Copy And Selectively Edit" or "Copy And Steal Everything". So kinda like a sketch but not I guess... In this case (hehe case, lol), I've used the following to copy & edit into my own card:

Felt the need to scrap and thought the Frosted Designs LO would be perfect for this picture which I've had in my craft crop bag for months now!

Penny & Woodstock are 2 of Belles pup who were born back in 2010. Penny lives with us, while Woodstock is spoilt rotten by my dad down in Dorset.

This picture was taken when we went to stay in Poole last June to dog-sit Woodstock while my dad was on holiday. They looked so cute sat together on the sofa, almost a like but completely different! Which gave me the Yin & Yang idea for the LO

Gothic Birthday

Eeeeeeek me and my 2 friends (mentioned in below posts) turned the BIG 30 this year!!!

Both of them have their birthdays in April, so that I'm on top of it I've started their cards early.

First up is Naomi - 1st April (no joke!), my wonderful quirky off the wall, completely disarrayed friend. A nice cutesy gothic birthday card for her!

Now normally I'm one for filling every space, no white left anywhere! But I put the background layer on, turned it slightly (as per sketch) and then put the image on top and it just looked done! No need for anything more and I really like it :D

Primarni Bargins!

Ages ago my liddle friend Cal made gorgeous art works in picture frames, when I came across a pack of 5x7 2 pictures frames for £2 at Primark well be rude not to have a go myself!

Have made these for my up and coming forever friends Lisa (known since I was 4 1/2) and Naomi (known since I was 14) and their 30th Birthdays!

Very proud of this flower :D

Gadget & Penny LO

You wont see many of these as generally you cant keep the two together without Gadget trying to teach Penny a lesson (trouble with a 9yr old grumpy yorkie and a 1 yr loonie crestie!)

But managed to get this picture on my iTouch in the park the other week, so cute with them both wearing their little coats :D
