Started this LO couple months back at one of Cals Rochdale crops, well I did the background piece which I stuck the picture on.  Actually made up the background page to stick it onto last night.  Kind of a art journal cum scrapbook page.

Year 30

So this is new for me, as I've actually scrapped a picture of myself! As I turned 30 in June, I thought it would be nice to do a layout of what I've achieved this year, something I can look back on with a smile.

I used the remains of my August Kit from creative craft world

with some added extras that I've stashed over the years (i.e. Dragonfly brad!).  I tried to include some little bits in there which would represent something to me.

My picture was taken yesterday on my iPad, I've gone back to my near-ish original colour using a product called "Colour B4", its actually made me a little ginger but it has removed 2 years worth of red hair dye.  Other than mascara and lip gloss no other make up... OK I then ran it through an app called "Camera Dream" which gives everything a soft glow to it, very good for removing imperfections (what I'm 30! I'm allowed a little photoshopping lol). 

5 things I have achieved (and will achieve) this year!

This cupcake brad is to symbolize my 30th Birthday party, as I had a cupcake party! 

Over 40+ cupcakes were made (and eaten) lol

A dragonfly, pink crown, oh and some flutterbyes :)

Pretty green sparkly title (need to buy more of this lettering!), also some words for inspiration!

Faithful Friends

Hello everyone!

Boy is the temperature dropping here in the UK, today there was a def. chill in the air, will have to break out my winter coat soon (or buy a new one hehehe).  But its ok, because these two guys will be keeping each other warm and toasty :D

2 Cute Inks "Furry Friends" is one of my faves, probably because it reminds me of Gadget and Garfield (even the size difference lol), though I have never found Gadget sat a top of Garfs head... yet...

Halloween is def all about the treats ;) hehehe

So I seem to be a week behind my 2 Cute DT buds, but I blame this on the dire state of my craft room! However I spent a good couple of hours doing a major blitz on Sunday (mainly just on the junk) and getting together some order! Possibly one of my favourite tags I've made :D

Crafty Catz DT Call

I am still trying to digest last nights enormous amount of takeaway, so couldn't sleep! Once again, what should I do...

Follow the sketch they've provided, I decided to use what was on my desk.  This pre-coloured tiddlyinks image with matching background has been floating around for months now and works well with the sketch provided :D A bit of card, ribbon and bling, wham bam thank you maam and you have a cute emo cupcakey card! 

Now I'm off to try and sort out my craftroom... Eeek :-s

Autumn Tidings

It is almost my favourite time of year! Autumn, which gives us

Halloween, bonfire night (in the UK) and Thanksgiving (in the USA).

The nights draw in, the air becomes crisp and clear. Love it :D

Now this weeks theme is supposed to be Halloween, however I was

Handsome Moustaches!

I got a very manly scrapbook kit last month which had the most amazing

die cut sentiment on it! Which I think works very well with this picture

of Garfield that I took/altered :D 

Don't ask me why, but for a while now I have had a thing about things with

moustaches on, my favourite being a t-shirt with the saying:

"I moustache you a question!"

So when I came across an app where I could add moustaches... it was too

hard to resist and I think Garfield looks very dapper :D

This saying is so funny!
