I needed to make a wedding card for one of my American cousins, kinda sad really as I had intended on travelling to Michigan for the wedding but due to finances couldn't go in the end :o(So decided to try & make a really special wedding card & make use of the wedding couple I bought from LOTV couple months back!Following the LOTV Challenge 35 LO I pieced together this card using LOTV papers! I hand cut the circle & managed to stamp my wedding couple smack bang in the center (boy was I impressed with myself!). Colouring them in using promarkers (whatelse!?), I added glitter with my clear sakura pen & highlights with glossy accents. For the lettering I coloured in some card, chopped out the letters with my quickutz handtool then glazed them once stuck down!
Promarkers used: Ice Grey 1 & 4, Cool Grey 2, Ivory, Lavender, Lilac, Meadow Green, Henna, Terracotta & spice.
Well I've done 2 cards & I just cant decide which I prefer! Both are the same LO & stamped image, but the colours are different & I like them both in different ways!
Challenges:
Sketch and Stash - Use the LO provided & either new or forgotten stash item
Passion for Promarkers - Theme is "Girly & Glittery" Green & Purple Hippo:I like how I've coloured this image using Lavender, Lilac, Meadow Green, Apple & Pastel Green promarkers. The sketch is from Sketch & Stash and my "new" stash is the image which I stamped up from my friend Ruth. The papers are all Lili of the Valley.

Close up of the Hippo before she went on the card to show the glitter!
This particular card will be saved for my mums birthday as we have a history of "ballerina hippos" & she loves the colour green!Blue Hippo:
Once again the LO is from the Sketch & Stash challenge, here not only is the stamped image a new one (I stamped up a few when Ruth came round lol) but also the strip of fun paper is one I've never used before - Daisy Bucket "Bloomin Paislies / Dazzling Darbie", amazing what you find routing round in your stash!I love how I've done the ballerina skirt here with glitter, though cannot credit it as an original idea as I saw it done in pink by one of the DT on the Friday Sketchers blog, thought it was so cute & had to try for myself!Hippo is coloured this time in Sky Blue, Agean, Cornflower Blue, Cool Grey 2 & 4
Taken at a slightly different angle with the sun hitting it so you can see the glitter!

Now not my normal type of card, for a start there's no pink or glitter on it lol, but I do love it & think it's the perfect entry for the Pollycraft Monday Challenge (http://pollycraftchallengeblog.blogspot.com/) which wanted "furry friends" :DDovecraft "Pet" Papers were used on the one half. The sausage dog was a Tales from Pollycraft free download! Coloured in with promarkers henna, petrol blue, orange & ice grey 1.
