Mighty Hunter...

I love this image, stamped up a couple of it when my friend visited for a crafty session! May have to ask her to bring it round again :D

Also tried to think of a good quote to use on this card, googled, racked my brains. Wasn't until I pulled out a some cat stickers that I saw "Mighty Hunter" and knew that was perfect :D lol

Using promarkers to colour kitty in, decided I wanted him to look like my Garfy lol

Due to heat here (yucky horrible sticky weather), this card has taken me the better part of today as kept starting and stopping LOL

Lesson in perseverance....

I should win an award for sheer perseverance and patience with this card, if it went wrong it did! ARGH!

Overall I'm happy with the card, which is good as I'm putting it forward to see if I'm picked to be a guest designer on a blog! Which would be awesome :D at the very least I've got my card done for the wedding party I've been invited to in September!

Using Karen Foster paper for the background (love this and I think its perfect for weddings!) and a very old Lili of the Valley wedding couple stamp which has been coloured in with promarkers.

Rapunzel! Let down your hair!

Having a pretty cruddy day, shan't go into details, lets say feeling under the weather, bleugh! So after inhaling enough painkillers to keep a small army marching, decided to try and take my mind off things and made this card for a few challenges!

Using my GORGEOUS Rapunzel stamp by Annie Rodrigue, coloured her in with Promarkers (of course!). Then picked out 3 more or less matchey patterned papers (not easy with my stash, I'm very much a random stash buyer!).
As following a sketch, needed a button, so created my own flowery button from a chipboard stamp and decorated in gold with a ribbon.
Punched 5 cute little flowers out for a bit of decoration & also used the remains of a gold border that I found in one of my boxes!
Finally, added a few more gems as swirls on two of the corners.

Entering for following challenges:

Totally Gorjuss Challenge 90: Punch or Die

Crafty Catz Challenge 92: No Pink or Blue!

Frosted Designs, Challenge Theme: Buttons

Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge 88: Follow the sketch

Stampin with the Dragon, Recipe Challenge: 3 pattern papers, 3 embellishments, 1 border

Another CAS Challenge!

So i've just created this card for another CAS challenge, but then I do so enjoy CAS cards now! Also gave me a chance to play with my new stamp (been dying to get an Annie Rodrigue image for ages now!!!).

So with a fishy theme here is my card for the Digi Doodle Challenge blog:

Christmas in July?? Seriously!!

Sadly yes there are a couple of challenge blogs who are serious about Christmas in July :p lol

As I meant to try out doing a CAS Christmas card (after getting hooked on CAS cards a week or so back), using two challenge blogs to give me a bit of kick into trying!

So here is my Christmas in July card, using a very old Lili of the Valley Reindeer stamp, coloured in with Promarkers.

You never know, I may knock out a couple more to get my christmas card stash up to speed... but very doubtful LOL

A Star Is Born LO

Here is a LO of my own little star, Penny :D she was less than a week old in this picture!

All back ground papers were made by me, using Adorn It Star stamps and also using my fiskars shape template as a mask!

As purple is Pennys colour (Belle is pink, Gadget red/green & Garfield blue), i've been trying to keep all her LO's so far to the same colour!

Pick of the Litter LO

I have quite a few photos of my pets and quite sometimes some of them just have a title for a scrap page written all over, some of them just dont.

So taking inspiration from an old challenge LO and Frosted Designs theme of "Quote That", I picked out this picture of Penny Puppy (9 months old tomorrow!) and used the popular "Pick of the Litter" quote for the page title!

Using an apt "Penny Lane" paper (front and back) and with my new Tim Holtz letter "Upon a Time" and x-cut 3d flower punch for the first time as well!

Birthday Wishes Challenge Card

And so I find another two fun blogs with challenges for me to try out!

Sketch Saturday (Challenge 163) - Follow the Sketch
365 Cards (Day 131) - Theme: Wishing on a Star

So using a Pollycraft image found in my big folder of uncoloured digi-images, I made this card. Image is coloured solely in my new tria marker pens. They are good with the fine nibs, but Letraset have just released fine nibs for promarkers which according to a friend you can switch around... So dont know if I will be purchasing anymore Trias.

Beach ATC - Frosted Designs Friday Challenge

Its Friday! and have spent today out with a friend where we had a fish pedicure! Which was interesting to say the least lol

SO to continue on with flexing my crafting muscles, I've been perusing some new blogs and came across this one:

This week its their first birthday, so doing a blog hop (awesome way to pick up inspiration, def. 1 LO which I'll be scrap lifting at some point lol) as well as their weekly challenge which is:

Recipe Challenge:
1. Ribbon/Trim
2.Charm
3. Rhinestones/pearls

While considering, this character was spotted in my folder of uncoloured images and after hopping through a lot of summer feeling craft ideas, made this!

This is me, last weekend after getting sunburnt! lol

Simply Purr-fection...

3 day weekend, so gonna flex my creative muscles by doing some blog challenges! The first two that complement each other are:

Cupcake Craft Challenge 149 - Single Layer Cards & I Promarkers Challenge 73 - Clean and Simple

Now if you flick through my blog you will see that I'm not a single/clean/simple person LOL so this was a challenge, but it was actually really easy and I just LOVE my card that I've made! Taking inspiration from Faye on Cupcake Craft and her gorgeous boat card I've made the following:

I tell ya, that BIG blank white space is kinda taunting me but I think adding anything more to it might just ruin the simple purr-fection of it :D lol

Promarkers used: Lavender & Lilac
Stamp used: Docrafts, Pampered Pets

Teen Birthday (Pollycrafts Challenge 100!)

I once knew a little girl... that little girl now turns 14! on Sunday, where has the time gone. I'm sure it wasn't that long ago I was sitting up New Years Eve with her as a screaming 6 month old baby lol

So to celebrate I've made her a teen birthday card with a bit of a rock theme :D using Pollycraft image "Cherry Kisses - Whatever!", it even kinda looks like her lol

Tatty Teddy Leaving Card (Promarker Challenges!)

Taking inspiration from my favourite two promarker blog challenges I put together this leaving card for a girl at work (only be there 2 min and off she goes...)

Passion for Promarkers - Week 107, Theme: Tie a Yellow Ribbon

I Promarkers - Challenge 72, Theme: Include Flowers

Tatty Teddy Birthday - Sketch N Stash, Challenge 65

I really do love sketch challenge LOs, gives me something to work on when I need a card and dont want to think too much about it lol

Following the LO from Sketch 'n' Stash, challenge 65 and using up bits of card and flowers that I've had hanging around for a while I've made this for a friends birthday
