Long time no blog...

Well it's been almost a week since I last updated this, been very busy with my new job and though I've not kept my food diary on here I have been keeping track on a notepad at work, however Friday, Saturday & Sunday aren't ever gonna emerge lol

Spent this weekend doing some crafting, made a gorgeous girly christening card, 2 birthday cards and also finished off this months Circle Journal!

Anyway work is starting up now, so will have to try and update later with pics!

Marry Me David!

Gaaaaaaaaaaawd how gorgeous is David Tennant!??! After tonights episode not only is he still the Doctor but also there's an opening for the Doctors Assitant. Sign me up BBC!!!

As I know some people are keeping track of my food diary and how honest I'm being the truth is over the past few days I have completely lost track of where I was, however I admit to earing half a Giant Grobswitchy Bun... Whats one of those? See picture below for reference!

Also went to see Hancock today, not overally impressed. Thought it was gonna be funnier, but worth a watch! Gonna go see Wanted tomorrow with Angelina Jolie, then we have Kung Fu Panda and some other movies to go see :o)

Crafting wise, my new dovecraft chalks arrived. Purty :oD Also bought a new corkboard to decorate with decopatch papers as I need another board to put stuff up on! Also working on a card for the magazine competition, can't say anymore than that... Oooo suspense!

Right well it's late so gonna love you leave you!

Dreaded Dentist

Well I had every reason to dread the dentist... I needs a filling :o( so gotta go back on the 18th July to get it done! So annoying and I really hate needles!!!

Hardly get a minute to myself at work now, i'm just working constantly but I guess the good thing is the days are flying by!

Last night started on this months CJ which is "What's In A Name?". Normally I'm a bit funny about the papers and embellishments I use as I don't like using my fave stuff cos I like to keep it for myself (yes I'm a greedy/selfish little sod), but found myself using Karen Foster and other fun stuff that I kinda didn't mean to... Oh well it looks purty :oD However disaster did happen... I RAN OUT OF GLUE!!! So ended up doing what I could with double sided tape. Now I used to be a BIG DST fan, but then I found a glue that I love and I much prefer it as if you put your paper down a liddle wonky you can still move it around.

Anyway will buy new glue tonight, now for my food diary...

Food Diary... what food diary!

Ok so I have to admit that I completely forgot over the weekend I was supposed to be keeping a food diary and can I remember what I've eaten over the last 2 days... like heck! Lets just say it was a tasty and extremely healthy and I'll start again today :oD lol

Went to Stockport Saturday in search of pearlised cards & envelopes, did I find any? Nope, did find some hammered cards but not what I want (Waste of £4.99 really but they will eventually be used!). So really need to go to Hobby Craft and see what they have. It's for a glamourous sophiscated wedding card that a guy at work has ordered. I have the perfect embellishment, just need the perfect card to put it on now!

Done quite a bit of crafting this weekend, have finished off my craft weekend ATC's. Was a bit of a struggle as I've never done 12 ATC's are all basically the same, to be honest it was kinda dull! So wont be doing that again in a hurry.

Also after realising friday that it was my dads birthday sunday and I hadn't finished his present, spent Saturday finishing that off (see pic below).

Last night was kinda naughty... I may of mentioned on here that I wasn't gonna spend ANY money on craft items this month. Sadly I went onto a craft site where a friend of mine gets a discount and ended up spending £25.
Now this was a good £25 spent as I got all 3 dovecraft shalk sets for £2.33 each, fiskers starter set shape cutter for £9.99 and 20 sheets of foam pads for £5. Possibly bought something else, but not sure!
Yesterday had a scare, my cat Garfield decided to go sit outside on the window ledge in my craftroom... Now he's a house cat so not allowed outside, so when I saw him sat there taking in the fresh air I yelled at him to come back. Unfortunately we have PVC sills and it had been raining... All we can say is it's lucky there's a ledge under the window or we'd of found a ginger smear out by the front door. Never been so scared in my life watching my cat fall out of the window, but he's completely unharmed and back to his normal staying inside self!

Anyway pikature time:
Baby girl card, using stamped versamark
mark & blending chalks to colour in.
Image is from House Mouse!

Sketch book for my dad.
Altered Sara-binder, decorated with decopatch
sheets & embellishments.
